Thinking about quitting smoking or vaping? Do You have questions?

The Colorado QuitLine can help. The program is available to anyone over the age of 12. It’s completely free and you can enroll online in five minutes. There’s a text message program to help you deal with cravings. There’s a chat function that lets you talk to a coach online if you don’t want to talk over the phone. Coaches don’t need to speak to your parents, and all conversations are completely confidential. And even if you aren’t ready to quit, coaches at the QuitLine can help.

Why Quit Vaping?

E-cigarettes are just as addictive as cigarettes. The vape juice in JUUL is actually a mix of chemicals and addictive nicotine. Teens who start vaping are 4X more likely to smoke cigarettes a year later. And because vapes are addictive, they can be hard to quit without help. The QuitLine can help you kick your JUUL habit when you’re ready.

Why Quit Smoking?

Cigarettes contain arsenic, and the same toxic chemicals found in gasoline and dog poop. Tobacco smoke gives you pimples, yellow teeth and makes you smell. The QuitLine can help you put smoking out of your life for good.

Why quit dip, chew and snuff?

Chew tobacco can cause receding gums, dental problems and even oral cancers. They're also addictive, but the QuitLine can help you learn more about chew, and quit when you're ready.
